How does the Editorial Membership work? What is the process?
How it Works - Step by Step
- Editorial Members are invited to collaborate on an Insight.
- Each invitation contains a brief description and a link.
- Members review and identify if it is a good fit.
- If interested, the editorial member opens the link.
- Member reads the article draft.
- The draft should be the latest “clean” revision (see #5).
- At the bottom of each article draft is another link.
- This link opens a document for collaboration.
- Members then may comment with feedback, and suggest revisions.
- Someone from Eventida will respond to feedback as applicable.
- You will also notice other reviewers commenting.
- Members are engouraged to engage with one another and contribute to those conversations.
- Above all, to have fun being a part of the Collective!
- Every few days or so, the Eventida team updates the article draft.
- First, the lead author and/or editor reviews and updates the collaboration doc.
- Once done, the latest version is copied to the article draft.
- A new invitation is distributed to editorial members to review the latest version.
- Members (and/or their organization) fills out the form for credit.
- At the bottom of each article draft there is a link.
- Members fill in the form with how they want to be named, and where we should link to.
- Those who wish to contribute anonymously can skip this step.
- Before publishing, we will send the contributors a heads up.
- All members are encouraged to take a "last look" for proofreading,
- Sometimes a ready-made promotion kit will be provided.
Thank you so much for your time and for providing us with your valuable insights!
